How does rehabilitation work?
Veterinary rehabilitation uses targeted physical therapies to return the pet to normal day to day activities. Targeted physical therapies include massage, therapeutic exercise, heat, cold, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation – TENS, ultrasound, photobiomodulation (cold laser), shockwave, hydrotherapy and pulsed electromagnetic field therapies. Char’s Rehabilitation Center focuses on massage, therapeutic exercises, heat and cold therapies, PEMF and cold laser treatments. The owner can be as much or little involved in the rehabilitation treatment as they wish. CHRC is a mobile service providing the rehabilitation service directly to the pet.
